The North Tama girls traveled to Jesup Friday, May 1 to compete against Don Bosco. The Redhawks lost the meet by only 26 strokes with a team score of 265 to Don Bosco's 239.

Nora Seda and Emily Ewoldt shared the low score for the Redhawks with a score of 57 for the round. Both Ewoldt and Seda had a rough start to the meet on hole number one but still managed to tie for second place in the meet.

Coach Estes said, "Players still need to keep working on lowering their scores."

The North Tama boys golf team traveled to Jesup to face off against Don Bosco Friday, May 1. The Redhawks struggled a bit and lost the meet by 35 strokes. Don Bosco had a team score of 172 having their top four golfers finish their rounds below our lowest scorer, Brian Seda. Seda brought home the lowest round for the Redhawks shooting a 49, his lowest this season.

Jon Koob finished his round with a 50, having some trouble on the sixth. Koob started the round off with a birdie on the second and had a par on seven to come back after shooting a 12 on the sixth.

Brady Pearson also had a birdie this meet on hole three.

In the junior varsity meet North Tama came a little closer to Don Bosco. Finishing the meet with 235 team points to Don Bosco's 231. Winston Miller and Sergey Klementyev tied for lowest round for the Redhawks with a 57.
