Campbell and Himschoot exchange vows

Kelly Marie Campbell and Adam Robert Himschoot were married September 26, 2009, at Center Street Baptist Church in Marshalltown. Kenneth Campbell, uncle of the bride, from Cantonment, Florida, officiated at the double-ring wedding ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Steve and Cindy Campbell of Marshalltown and Steve and JoAnn Himschoot of Traer. Prior to giving the bride away, Steve Campbell, father of the bride, sang "I Loved Her First" to the couple. Made of honor was Kinzee Kirk of Marshalltown, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kimberly Campbell of Marshalltown, sister of the bride; Kourtney Campbell of Marshalltown, sister of the bride; and Lydia Kalina of Cedar Rapids, IA, friend of the bride. Kristen Campbell of Cantonment, Florida, was a junior bridesmaid.

The bride wore a white strapless floor-length gown and carried a bouquet of mixture of white flowers. The maid of honor and bridesmaids all wore floor-length strapless black dresses with mint green sashes and carried bouquets of varied pink flowers. The junior bridesmaid wore a floor-length black dress with spaghetti straps and mint green sash.

Andrea Dvorak of Clutier, niece of the groom, was the flower girl. Andrea wore a sleeveless floor length white gown with a pink sash and carried both green and pink rose petals in her white basket. Best man was Jason Himschoot of Traer, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Nick Blocker of Cedar Falls, friend of the groom; Jake Unker of Traer, friend of the groom; and Matt Mashek of Marshalltown, friend of the bride and the groom. They wore black tuxedos with dark pink vests and ties. The men also served as candle lighters and as ushers. Ring bearers were Jared Dvorak of Clutier, and Mason Himschoot of Traer, both nephews of the groom.

Jane Wickham, of Kentwood, La., cousin of the bride, was the guest book attendant. Kathy Campbell of Belle Chasse, La., and aunt of the bride, served as the bride's personal attendant and wedding coordinator. Following the wedding ceremony at Center Street Baptist Church, the couple celebrated their union with their friends and family at a dinner and dance reception held at the Midnight Ballroom in Marshalltown. Hostesses were Janine Campbell of Cantonment, Fla, aunt of the bride and Kathy Campbell of Belle Chase, La., and aunt of the bride.

After a wonderful honeymoon trip to Costa Rica the newlyweds are making their home in Cedar Falls. Kelly just graduated from the University of Northern Iowa and is employed by Osco Drugstore in Waterloo and Brown Bottle Restaurant in Cedar Falls. Adam works for Frito-Lay in Cedar Falls.
