Corbins celebrated 50th anniversary

Roger and Jan Corbin celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Memorial weekend in Des Moines with a family reunion and a dinner hosted by their children at the Scottish Rite Park Penthouse. Eighty family members and friends attended the dinner.

Roger Corbin and Janice Shroyer were married May 14, 1960 in Des Moines.

Their children are Mick and Barb Corbin, Claremore, Okla., Barb and Tom Whitesell of Broken Arrow, Okla., Rella Shipman of Tulsa, Okla., Don and Barb Shroyer of North Liberty, Dennis and Lois Corbin of Rosehill Kan., Paul and Kathy Corbin of Lakeville, Minn., and James Shroyer, deceased.

The Corbins have 17 grandchildren with one deceased and 28 great-grandchildren.
