Jackson and Slingluff announce engagement

Luann Jackson and Gene Slingluff of Beaman are announcing their engagement. They are planning an October 2 wedding at the Garwin United Methodist Church.

Parents of the couple are Roger and Karen Jackson of Garwin and the late Richard and Waneta Slingluff of Marshalltown.

Luann teaches preschool at the Meskwaki Settlement School and Gene is employed by the City of Marshalltown as a maintenance electrician.
