The final vendor for the Traer Farmer's Market Spotlight is Joyce and Gary Berns from Garwin.

Joyce and Gary have been doing Farmer's Markets for two years now. They sell various vegetables, fruits, fresh and dried herbs, decorated gourds, denim and other crafts such as birdhouses and feeders, planters, candle holders.

Other then Traer which they attend every other week, they enjoy attending Toledo and Garwin markets as well unless it is raining.

The couple has 1/8 of an acre that they spend attending to in between their many crafts shows and markets. " Gardening is a daily and we are always getting ready for our next Farmer's Market or Craft show" therefore we do not sell baked goods." stated Joyce.

The couple does not have children they enjoy the husband and wife operation and say that they have both learned a lot more about growing things and working together.

Other then working in the garden, Joyce and Gary do occasionally get outside work.

Talking to all the interesting people they meet is the most enjoyable part of being a vendor at the Farmer's Market for the Berns.
