Beran and Formanek announce engagement

Dave and Joann Beran of Victor, Iowa and Larry and Lisa Formanek of Belle Plaine, Iowa would like to announce the engagement of their children, Lindsay Irene and Joel William. Grandparents of the couple are Jerry and Carole Hadley of Dysart, June and Charles Formanek of Belle Plaine, and Tony and Gertie Sieverding of Cascade. Lindsay is a 2008 graduate of the University of Northern Iowa and currently attends the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy. Joel is a 2006 graduate of Wartburg College and is employed by Mobile Surgical Lasers in Kansas City as a laser technician. The couple will exchange wedding vows on August 7, 2010, at 2 p.m. at St. Bridget's Catholic Church in Victor with a reception to follow at the Michael J. Mannatt Community Center in Brooklyn.
