NT Elementary Winter Music Program on Dec. 19

December 13, 2012
Traer Star-Clipper

On Wednesday, December 19th, North Tama Elementary School will present their annual Winter Program at 1:30 p.m. in the North Tama School Gym.

The program will begin with song selections by the 5th and 6th Grade Bands, under the direction of Channing Merchant.

The kindergarten and first grade students will begin the vocal portion, followed by grades 2, 3, and 4 performing in a mini-musical "Santa's New Look." Poor old Santa! He's feeling quite old and out of style in his traditional "old red suit." But wait, he has some ideas for becoming hip and happening this year. What will his new look be like? You'll have to come see the show!

Grades 5 and 6 will sing next, followed by the big finale, "Shout!" for grades K through 6. Every student in elementary will participate on this one!

The students are under the direction of Katie Heaford and Terry Shay, with piano accompaniment by Mr. Shay. Admission is $2.00. Come join us for a fun afternoon of holiday music.
