The After Prom Committee at North Tama is hard at work raising funds for this year's celebration, and a unique event this weekend will help get the school closer to its goal.
North Tama will be hosting a prom dress sale and is in need of dresses! Bring your dress in, tell the folks what you'd like to sell it for, and if it gets sold, you keep the profit! There is a $10 non-refundable fee to enter your dress in the sale, where students from other schools come to buy dresses.
Dresses may be dropped off at the band room on Thursday, January 31 or Friday, February 1 between the hours of 6 and 8 p.m. as well as the morning of the sale, Saturday, February 2 from 8 to 10 a.m.
If you have questions about the event, call Laurie Schafer at 319-415-1516. Sale hours will be between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 2. Dresses and profits from the sale can be picked up from 2 to 4 p.m.
All proceeds will go to benefit the North Tama After Prom Committee, so if you've got a dress to sell, get out and help the committee make this a wonderful celebration for the kids!
