The North Tama boys basketball team is ranked as high as #4 in some statewide Class 1A polls, but their date with perhaps the best team on the schedule, Iowa Star Conference foe Dunkerton, will have to wait a few more days.
The January 28 contest was postponed due to a snow, or more aptly, ice day for area schools earlier this week. The contest will now be at home on February 4 at 8 p.m.
Dunkerton comes into the contest with no losses on the season and ranked #9 in most polls.
North Tama has cruised through its recent slate of opponents, knocking off Don Bosco and Meskwaki by handy margins in previous weeks before easily dispatching Waterloo Christian 72-27 on January 25 and Gladbrook-Reinbeck 52-39 on January 26.
The boys played GMG in a Tuesday night contest this week that ended too late to be included in this edition. The Redhawks beat GMG 68-36 in the season's earlier meeting on December 11.
