Karl W. Rinkleff, 68

Karl Wilhelm Rinkleff, 68, of Fredericksburg, passed away on February 4, 2013 at the Cedar Valley Hospice House in Waterloo. Visitation was held at Overton Funeral Home on Friday, February 8, 2013 from 4 to 7 p.m. with a rosary service at 7 p.m. A private family funeral mass and burial were held on the following day at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Cemetery.

He was born in Germany to Karl and Helene Rinkleff in November of 1944.

In August of 1970, he was united in marriage to his wife Mary Jane Kucera. Together they raised five children, Erik (Mary Ann) Rinkleff, Heidi Rinkleff, Sara (Thomas) Frizelle, Maria (Michael) Zurn, and Patrick Rinkleff. Karl and Mary Jane also have two grandchildren, Anka Rinkleff and Henry Frizelle.

Karl resided in rural Fredericksburg. For most of his life, he labored as a carpenter and painter and also enjoyed woodworking. Karl led a faithful life, and it was this unwavering faith that led him through his struggles.
