Amy Marie Boldt was born January 20, 1978 at Marshalltown, IA daughter of Gary and Suzanne (McKibben) Boldt. She received her education in Traer and where she graduated from North Tama School in 1996. She then began working at Hy-Vee in Marshalltown and in 1998 moved to Gladbrook where she worked at Casey's. She then took a job with F&M Bank in Marshalltown as a teller until her health began to fail. Amy was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Traer and Gladbrook Jaycees. She was active in FFA, 4-H, Tama County Fair and was selected as Little Miss Pigtail. She enjoyed her animals, babysitting and cooking. Her death came on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at her home at the age of 35 years. Amy was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Fritz and Florence Boldt, maternal grandfather Clifford McKibben and a great grandmother Alice Wilcox. Survivors include her significant other Andy Busch and his children Joe and Lilly of rural Gladbrook, her parents Gary and Suzanne Boldt of Gladbrook, two brothers Mark Boldt of Altoona, IA and David (Mandy) Boldt of Traer, IA her maternal grandmother Joan McKibben of Marshalltown, one niece McKenna Boldt and two nephews Clayton and Lane Boldt and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
