Start of a long season?

The North Tama Redhawks opened the season on Saturday night with their worst showing since 2005, falling 48-0 to a superior Nashua-Plainfield team. This photo is indicative of some of the offensive opportunities the Redhawks failed to capitalize on throughout the evening. Omar Martinez has hops, but was unable to reel in a high pass from junior quarterback Brody Hulme during the first quarter of play. For full coverage of the opener, check out the sports section.
