Rebels clip Redhawks

October 10, 2014
Traer Star-Clipper

The Redhawks competed hard, but were no match for the Gladbrook-Reinbeck juggernaut on Friday evening, falling 50-7.

It was a lopsided defeat - the most lopsided in the history of the series, in fact - that did include some positives for North Tama.

Junior wide receiver Caden Stuart caught three passes for 77 yards, and Riley Rohach snagged an interception on the defensive side.

Losing to G-R is hardly anything for the Redhawks to hang their heads about - the Rebels have outscored their opponents 257-57 on their way to a 5-1 record this season.

North Tama (2-4) will make the short trip up to Hudson for their final road game of the season this Friday night in what looks to be a winnable contest. The Pirates are 4-2 after a win over Clayton Ridge last week. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
