Marvin Richard Vojtech, 91, of Traer, died at home of natural causes on Monday, August 31, 2015. He was born on April 4, 1924, in Toledo, the son of Adolph and Vlasta (Upah) Vojtech. He married Beverly Thede on November 24, 1948, at St. Vaclav Catholic Church in Clutier. Marvin served his country in the United States Army during WWII in the South Pacific. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Traer, the Traer American Legion and Farm Bureau for over 69 years. Marvin is survived by his wife of Traer; two daughters, Patricia Arp and Kathryn Allen of Hudson, and three sons, Ronald and Robert of Traer and James of Clutier. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother. Service will be held Friday, September 4 at the St. Paul Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. with visitation beginning an hour prior. Burial with military rites by the Traer American Legion will follow at St. Paul Catholic Church Cemetery.
