Robin L. Santman, 57

Robin Lee Santman was born on October 16, 1958, in Killeen, Texas, the son of Roger and Kae (Robinson) Santman. Robin grew up and attended school in Dysart. When he was a teenager, he moved to a group home in Rock Valley. Robin has also lived in Hull, Orange City, and most recently, Sioux Center. He went to church faithfully and was involved in the Friendship group. Robin enjoyed going on trips, camping, playing the piano, competing in the Special Olympics, bowling, playing UNO, and helping make hay on the farm. He was always happy and never complained about anything. Robin died at the age of 57 on Thursday, September 15, 2016, the Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He was preceded in death by a stillborn brother. Robin is survived by his parents, Roger and Kae Santman of Dysart; a brother, David (Missy) Santman of Hudson; three sisters, Julie (Eric) Doyle of Lake City, Minnesota, Sheri Perrotti of Phoenix, Arizona, and Susan (Marvin) Reints of Ankeny; and many nieces and nephews.
