Tama Co. Women, Land & Legacy event at North Tama Nov. 15

Have trouble navigating the USDA and Extension websites? What? Can't even find them? Loaded with information and publications, they're also your pathways to viewing your farming operation's records online.

Come take the mystery out of the FSA, NRCS, NASS and Extension websites. Tama County Women, Land & Legacy is pleased to host its twenty-ninth event on Tuesday, November 15th. Join them for an evening of learning and fun at Untangling the Web: Agencies Online.

The event will be held at the North Tama Elementary computer lab, 605 Walnut Street in Traer. Park on Sixth Street and enter through the building's northwest door. This event is sponsored by Farmers Savings Bank & Trust, Traer.

Dessert and registration will begin at 6:30 p.m. with the event following at 7:00.

This event is free and open to the general public, both women and men.

Tama County Women, Land & Legacy began in 2007, part of a statewide USDA outreach project. The project is currently active in nearly 30 Iowa counties and brings together Iowan women interested in agriculture, local food and natural resources to converse, listen and become empowered for involvement on their landscape and in their communities.
