Wellness Series: Helping you help your family choose healthy habits

Want to learn how to make healthy meals in a hurry? Need help making money last? Need help keeping calm in chaos?

Making family wellness a priority is difficult when trying to balance busy schedules, limited budgets and conflicting priorities. Learn from Extension and Outreach specialists tips, tools and strategies that can make maintaining healthy habits easier.

Tama County S.K.I.P (Supporting Kids in Prevention) invites you to attend a three part series in March at the Tama ISU Extension and Outreach office. Each session will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Topics include:

March 14 Healthy Meals in a Hurry. Learn how to plan, save money, shop smart and make easy, low cost healthy recipes.

March 21 Making Money Last. Learn tips, tools, and strategies for managing a healthy family budget.

March 28 Keeping Calm in Chaos. Learn how to use time and energy to maintain healthy choices.

All 3 sessions are $10. This includes all supplies and a light meal. Register by Tuesday, March 7 by contacting the Tama County Extension Office at 641-484-2703 or jhulme@iastate.edu.
