"Faith of our Fathers" is the focus of this year's St. Vclav (Wenceslaus) Cemetery walk and educational program. The program begins at 9:00 a.m. in the church on Sunday, June 18 which is also Father's Day. The Corpus Christi Mass and Procession follows at 10:30 a.m. A great potluck dinner at the former I.C. social center in Clutier will be a chance to visit with old neighbors and relatives. The Corpus Christi Mass is the only Sunday Mass held at this oratory each year.

On April 3, 1899 Mike and Bozana Cizek sold 4 acres of land for $150 to F.J. Kvidera, John Nachzel, Josef Kadrmas, and John Stepanek, trustees for the Society of St. Vaclav for a site for a new church. This church was built largely with labor donated by the new parishioners. The first Mass was Christmas Day, 1900.

Many will remember this white church in the country with a peaceful cemetery outlined by a beautiful evergreen windbreak which was planted in 1940. The derecho straight line wind storm of July 11, 2011 forever changed this scene. It was decided to remove the entire grove of trees that survived the storm and start from scratch. The planting of the new trees began a few weeks ago.
