The Poweshiek County Shortsman's Assoc (PCSA) Bear Creek Range north of Malcom opened August 5th. She will be attending ISU this fall participating in the Navy ROTC and majoring in chemical engineering. Another article "Changes coming to IVH" was sent around. This is a multi-phase project, a meditation garden for residents and public. Phase two will be a new gazebo and updating the existing planting boxes. Final element is to include more seating in patio area with new side walks. This is being done with donated funds only.

A member has suggested that the exterior of the building needs to be painted. Several bare wood spots are visible. This will be discussed with the Legion and decision made in the future.
