Kae J. Santman, 82

Kae Jae Santman was born on August 13, 1935, in Fairfield, Iowa, the daughter of Willard and Grace (Morrison) Robinson. Kae graduated from Dysart High School in 1953 and was the class president. She attended AIB Business College in Des Moines and Cottey College in Nevada, Missouri. On August 23, 1957, Kae was united in marriage to Roger Santman in Killeen, Texas. The couple made their home in Dysart where they raised their family. Kae enjoyed chenilling, bowling, cross stitching, gardening, cooking, traveling, and entertaining for friends. She was a member of the Dysart United Methodist Church, the church Bell Choir, Rebekah's Circle, 20th Century Dysart Woman's Club, PEO Chapter MZ Vinton, Iowa for over 50 years, the Board of Permanent Planning in Waterloo, and 2 bridge clubs. Kae died at the age of 82 on Thursday, September 28, 2017, at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Robin, and a son in infancy, John. Kae is survived by her husband, Roger of Dysart; 3 daughters, Julie (Eric) Doyle of Lake City, Minnesota, Sheri Perrotti of Phoenix, Arizona, and Susan (Marvin) Reints of Ankeny; a son, David (Missy) Santman of Hudson; 2 brothers, Craig (Angel) Robinson of Big Canoe, Georgia and Roger (Jo) Robinson of Mesa, Arizona; 8 grandchildren, a great grandchild; and 8 nieces and nephews.
