Small-town girl shares her success in film editing in L.A.

Piper (Kucera) Kroeze, daughter of Martin & April Kucera, will be speaking at the Traer Public Library on Wednesday, December 27 at 2 p.m. Piper graduated from North Tama in 2006 and attend Dordt College in Sioux Center. Piper and her husband, Jacob along with their two children live in L.A. where Piper has pursued a career in film editing.

She is currently working on a Limited Series for Lifetime called YOU that will air sometime in 2018. Other credits include well-known titles Prison Break, APB, Devious Maids and Diary of a Wimpy Kid 3. Some notable, but lesser known titles are the film "Cold in July" which was in competition at Sundance in 2014 and "Pauly Shore Stands Alone" which was nominated for an ACE Eddie Award. Also, "Requiem for a Running Back" which has received a lot of current press and is about CTE in football players.
